Everyone looking for a home should be able to use this site.

What has been done

• Semantic HTML with a single main landmark and a logical heading order on every page.
• A skip link to the main content, and a visible focus outline on every interactive element.
• Full keyboard operation, including the menu, filters and every form.
• Labels on all form fields, with errors announced in text rather than by colour alone.
• Text and interface colours chosen for contrast against their backgrounds.
• Descriptive alternative text on photographs, and decorative linework hidden from screen readers.
• Motion reduced to almost nothing when the operating system requests reduced motion.
• Touch targets sized for use on a phone, with no action that depends on hovering.

Standard

The site is built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. Accessibility is not a one time task, so this statement should be revisited whenever new content or features are added.
